Build What Your Community Needs

Hello,

We invite you to join Build What Your Community Needs, a one-day MIT App Inventor satellite workshop hosted by Quest Alliance in Quest Learning Observatory (QLO) for India’s learners community.

This workshop brings together government school teachers, secondary school students, parents, NGO program designers, curriculum staff, and state education officials in a mixed, intergenerational setting. Together, participants will identify a real community need, build a one-screen mobile prototype using MIT App Inventor, and refine it through peer feedback and one focused iteration.

The workshop is grounded in computational action, the idea that community knowledge is not just motivation, but design intelligence. Participants will work in bilingual facilitation in English with Kannada support, and the day will include a structured making-and-sharing process that ends with real artefacts to take back to schools and communities.
