Regenerative thinking is at the core of how we engage with people, spaces, and systems. Last week, we hosted the RRR Maadi event at QLO, in collaboration with Saahas Zero Waste, LVBL Accelerator, Socratus Foundation for Collective Wisdom, and CSR Partner Juniper Networks.

The event was a strong reflection of what community-driven sustainability can achieve when people come together with a shared purpose: to repair, reuse, reduce waste, and create impact at the community level.

RRR Maadi continues to be a powerful platform for promoting circular living by supporting local repair communities, extending the life of everyday products, and encouraging more mindful consumption habits. This edition saw an incredible response from participants and repair partners alike.

Here’s a summary of the event:

Total Repairs Completed: 153
Total Beneficiaries: 66
Total Earnings for Repair Partners: ₹8,365
Gap Funding Support: ₹1,990

Our amazing repair partners made this impact possible:

• Rahamath Tailor – 28 repairs
• Sultana Tailor – 24 repairs
• Manju Knife Sharpener – 51 repairs (knife + zip repairs)
• Imthiyas Bicycle – 4 repairs
• Yakoob L Cobbler – 24 repairs
• Selvi Umbrella – 22 repairs

Bulky Waste Collected: 71 kg
Bulky Waste Collection Beneficiaries: 20
Awareness Sessions Reached: 16 adults + 3 kids

Events like RRR Maadi help us move beyond conversations and into action, creating opportunities for communities to participate in sustainability initiatives in practical, accessible ways. By fostering initiatives like these, we strengthen local livelihoods, reduce waste going to landfills, and build a stronger culture of conscious living and shared responsibility.

Real change often begins with small steps, and this event was a beautiful reminder of that and what collective action can achieve.
